Dr. Steve Moriconi

Dr. Steve Moriconi practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Corrective Jaw Surgery and Wisdom Tooth Removal to the diagnosis and treatment of Facial Pain, Facial Injuries, TMJ disorders, and Oral Pathology. Dr. Moriconi’s special interest and expertise in the area of Dental Implant and Reconstructive Surgery has resulted in the successful placement of over 10,000 implants in his career.
He is board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and brings nearly 30 years of experience to bear in treating his patients. He is director of a residency training program for general dentists, and has numerous professional publications and memberships in organizations to his credit. He provides free services to indigent patients in his community as a member of the DDS (Donated Dental Services) network. He leads annual dental mission trips to Haiti to provide oral surgery services for the poor and indigent. He has been named a Philadelphia Magazine “Top Doc” in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2002,  and a Top Dentist in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017

Dr Moriconi received the Pennsylvania Dental Association’s 2013 Public Service Award  for his work in Haiti and his service to indigent patients. Kristina Moriconi

moriconikrisKristina Moriconi received her MFA in creative writing from Pacific Lutheran University’s Rainier Writing Workshop in Tacoma, Washington. Her chapbook, No Such Place, was published in the fall of 2013 (Finishing Line Press).  She currently teaches in the MFA Program at Rosemont College in Rosemont, PA.  Kristina was named Poet Laureate of Montgomery County, PA for 2014-15 . She continues to assist in the management of Men Anpil and is instrumental in helping accommodate Haitian patients brought to Philadelphia for treatment.

Pediatric, Adolescent & Special Needs Dentistry

stoudtangelaDr. Stout graduated from Lehigh University with  Bachelor of Arts.  She received her Dental Degree from Temple University, completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and received her Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh.  She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

In addition to being the dentist for Springfield township, she is also a Clinical Assistant professor at Temple University.  Dr. Stout is on staff at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Abington Hospital, Chestnut Hill Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.  She is a member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society, and the American and Pennsylvania Dental Associations.

Nativita Toussaint Merone

nativinaNativita Toussaint Merone was born in Petite Riviere de l’Artibonite, Haiti. She was raised and went to primary school there until her parents moved to Port-au-Prince where she attended high school and university. Two years after high school graduation in 1986, she immigrated to Brooklyn, New York.

She met Jean Ulrick Merone in Brooklyn, New York, in 1990 and they were married two years later, moving soon after to Philadelphia. They have two children, both born in Philadelphia. The family is very active in their church community. Nativita is Assistant Treasurer, and both she and her husband teach Sunday school.


She has worked as an EKG Technician. And she has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Gwynedd Square Center in Lansdale, PA, and Willow Terrace in Philadelphia, PA. She has also completed courses in EMT-B Paramedics, EMS Educational Methodology, and Medical Interpretation.


Currently, she volunteers as a Medical Interpreter at her local church, helping members who do not speak English. She volunteers also as a Medical Interpreter in Abington Hospital’s Diversity Department. She is fluent in French, French Creole and English.


Nativita has been an active member of the American Red Cross since 2010 after the earthquake destroyed her hometown.


Carl Blanchet

blanchettcarlCarl Blanchet was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He attended St. Louis de Gonzague School until the age of 15 when his family moved to the United States and attended high school in New Jersey. He began college at La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA, and in his junior year participated in the Study Abroad Program at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. In 1973, he graduated from La Salle with a B.A. in French Education and went on to obtain a certification in Special Education at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ.


He began working in glass manufacturing in New Jersey and completed seminars in Business Management, Statistical Process Control, and Warehousing and Distribution. He has held jobs in Sales and Manufacturing in the healthcare as well as perfumery and cosmetics industries. Currently, he works as a Sales Executive for Berry Plastics Corporation headquartered in Evansville, IN.


Carl is fluent in French, French Creole and English.
